Kjaerulff 1 is the leading complete supplier of signal reception equipment for satellite, cable, terrestrial and IP platforms in the Nordic countries. The company develops and markets equipment and accessories for the transmission, processing and reception of video, audio and data signals.
Kjaerulff 1 also distributes a range of well-known and well-established audio/video/home cinema brands. For example, we are sole distributors of the German premium home cinema brand Loewe in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Other brands are also distributed exclusively by Kjaerulff 1 on the Nordic markets.
The company, which was founded in 1957 by Flemming Kjærulff, is today owned by his son, Karsten Kjærulff, who took over the company from his father in 1986. Since its establishment 50 years ago, the company has developed from a small aerial and installation business into a large export company with a turnover of hundreds of millions of Danish kroner and core competences in the development and marketing of user-friendly electronic products of the latest design.
The company has more than 150 employees. Its head office is located in Odense on Funen, and a sales office is established in Copenhagen. Furthermore the company has sales companies in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Poland. In order to support its production activities in the Far East, the company has established its own office in Shenzhen, China.
In 2007 the Kjaerulff 1 company has been elected as high rate growth company twice. Kjaerulff 1 has been appointed Gazelle 2007 and furthermore the company has been appointed regional winner of Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 on Funen.

Kjaerulff’s objective is to create added value for customers in all the products that we develop, produce and market. Basically, our criterion for success is to make complex technology easily accessible to users.
Therefore it is essential for us that our employees, product developers and sales persons possess considerable technical insight – and are able to apply and communicate their knowledge. This is one of the conditions for creating success, both for our distributors and for consumers.
We co-operate with operators, selected wholesalers and retail chains as well as independent radio/television retailers and installers.
